What is collected

The public index, methodology and coverage pages require no account and collect no personal data. Ridge collects personal data in three cases only:

• Enquiries — your name, work email, and optionally company, role, plan and message.
• A paid subscription or report — your email and account or seat identifier; a Ridge access key is issued to you. Payment is handled by Stripe (the payment processor) on Stripe's hosted checkout. Ridge does not see or store your card number. Stripe holds the billing record; Ridge holds the email tied to your seat and your purchase and renewal metadata.
• Standard technical metadata (timestamp, IP address) on all of the above, for security and abuse prevention.

02 · Processing

How it is used and who processes it

To respond to enquiries, to deliver and support what you have bought, to sign you in (a one-time email link; no passwords), and to send service email (your key, sign-in links, rating alerts you opt into, and renewal notices). Ridge uses three processors, each bound by its own data terms: Stripe (payments and billing), Resend (transactional email) and Plausible (cookieless page-view analytics). Stripe and Resend are US-based, so using the service involves a cross-border transfer of your email necessary to provide it. Your access key is stored hashed, never in plain text; sign-in links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes. See /security.

03 · Rights

Your rights, storage and retention

Consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask Ridge to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop marketing email, at any time: write to [email protected]. Enquiry and account data are kept only as long as needed for the relationship and any legal or tax obligation, then deleted. Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Addendum.

04 · The ratings

The data behind the ratings

Ridge ratings are computed from Dubai Land Department registered transactions (and, for Abu Dhabi, registered transactions, labelled as a preview). They reflect aggregate, registry-level market activity, communities and buildings, not individuals. Ridge does not publish personal transaction-party data. Every source is listed at /data-sources.

05 · Terms

Terms of use

• Indicative intelligence, not advice. Ridge ratings, indices and yields are market intelligence, not investment, valuation, tax or legal advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell or lend. Decisions remain yours.
• Best-effort accuracy. Figures are reconciled against the registry's own counts and reproducible from the same registry data, but are provided "as is" without warranty. Always re-derive for a decision that matters.
• Citation. Licensed reports and feeds may be cited as "Ridge Ratings" with the Report ID and methodology version. Redistribution beyond your licence requires written consent.
• No scraping. The public site is for human browsing; automated bulk extraction is not permitted. Licence the feed instead: Enterprise API.
• Enterprise terms. Licence scope, permitted redistribution, service levels and per-dataset source terms are set out in the Enterprise agreement; see /sla and /data-sources.
• Intellectual property. Copyright, trademarks, attribution and permitted use are set out in the IP and legal notice.
