Ridge Ratings is an independent UAE property rating and index service. We earn no commission and list no property — we publish a number, nothing more. This page explains, plainly, what we do with your data and the terms on which the service is provided.
The public index, methodology and coverage pages require no account and collect no personal data. We collect personal data in three cases only:
To respond to enquiries, to deliver and support what you've bought, to sign you in (a one-time email link — no passwords), and to send service email (your key, sign-in links, rating alerts you opt into, and renewal notices). We use two processors, both bound by their own data terms: Stripe (payments & billing) and Resend (transactional email). Both are US-based, so using the service involves a cross-border transfer of your email necessary to provide it. Your access key is stored hashed, never in plain text.
We never sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing. No data brokers, no resale — consistent with the independence the whole product is built on. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies; the only cookie we set (lk) is the one that keeps you signed in.
Consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop marketing email, at any time — email [email protected] and we will. Enquiry and account data is kept only as long as needed for the relationship and any legal/tax obligation, then deleted. Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Addendum.
Ridge ratings are computed from official Dubai Land Department open data (and, for Abu Dhabi, ADREC registered transactions, labelled as a preview). They reflect aggregate, registry-level market activity — communities and buildings — not individuals. We do not publish personal transaction-party data.
